Well after the completion of a very long editing process, the release of my next novel, Moonlit Shadows: Taken, is finally nearing! It was a long journey for sure--being a self-published author is daunting at times. The writing, that's the easy part. But everything that follows--the editing, the formatting, the book cover, the launching, and the marketing--is very hard work!

Aside from the hard work part, self-publishing is also very rewarding. Getting to share the stories that I have dreamed of and created from my imagination makes it all worth it. And when I get reviews on my books I find out exactly what I am doing right as a writer, and also what I need to work on. So please don't forget to leave those reviews! They may not seem important, but believe me, they are VERY important!

I am hoping to get all of the final details of Moonlit Shadows: Taken finished within the next couple of days. Tomorrow I am receiving a proof copy of my book in paperback format to review before I upload it on Amazon. My first book in paperback--I can't wait to see it and put it on my bookshelf with other books that I have read! And then maybe, just maybe, it will be available to purchase as soon as this weekend! And when I am finished with the launch and marketing of this book I am taking a much needed, very long vacation on a tropical beach. Just kidding. This summer I will be working on the second book of the Moonlit Shadows series--Moonlit Shadows: Bitten. I can't keep you all waiting to see what happens next, now can I?
